The All-India Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (AMMA-India) was established in the year 2010 on January 17 at the behest of the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation (Mechanization and Technology Division), Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation, Govt. of India represents the machinery manufacturers of agriculture and allied sectors. Over a period of time, the association has grown in size and strength and has emerged as the voice of the agricultural machinery industry. In 2013, AMMA-India hosted the flagship event ‘AMMM’ – A General Body meeting of AMMA-India. AMMA-India also conducts short-term ‘Seminars & Workshops,’ organises ‘Technology Mission’ to international Trade fairs for CEOs, and voices the ‘demands of the agricultural machine tools industry’ to the government. The Association also conducts training programs throughout the year, with skill development as its motto. Through various long-term and short-term training programs, the Association bridges the gap between the academics and the industry requirement and upskill the working professionals for the benefit of the agricultural machine tool industry. This is the registered society under Society Act XXI of 1860 with Registration No. 378 dated 20 September 2010. This association is also a member of the United Nations Regional Council of Agricultural Machinery Associations in Asia and the Pacific (ReCAMA). AMMA-India follows a very strict Code of Conduct and has a Vigil Mechanism Policy in place a per to the government policies and set itself high standards, concerning both. Presently we have more than 702 members includes tractor manufacturers, power tiller manufacturers, combine manufacturers and other agricultural machinery manufacturers.

General Body meeting of AMMA-India was called on January 19, 2013. Mr. D S Balachandra Babu became the new president of AMMA -India.
High Power Committee Meeting of AMMA-India was organized at Nagpur on September 22, 2014, on excise and taxation policy for MSME`s agriculture implement manufacturers.
General Body meeting of AMMA-India was called on August 17, 2016. Mr. Balachandra Babu is given one more term to serve as president of AMMA-India.
AMMA-India members visited & participated in various meetings & international exhibitions in Ghana, Malaysia, Bangkok, China, Germany & Ethiopia.
AMMA-India setup five regional centers at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Ludhiana, and Varanasi.
General Body meeting of AMMA-India was called on July 14, 2019. Mr. S. V. Raju became the new president of AMMA -India.
